Also located at this center is the “Steady” Ed Headrick Museum that showcases historical items from the early days of the sport. Home of the 2017 PDGA World Championships.

    Patriot’s Park is a one-stop facility for residents and visitors alike. The Gymnasium Complex is a 29,000-sq. ft., state-of the-art indoor facility, comprised of a 15,000-sq. ft. area for basketball and volleyball, four racquetball courts, an exercise room, game room, concession, and a 1,400-sq. ft. activity/meeting room. The Gymnasium Complex offers something for the whole family, from aerobics, basketball, individual exercise equipment, meeting facilities, racquetball, volleyball,martial arts and much more.

    Outside you’ll find baseball/softball and soccer fields that can be utilized for many different kinds of activities. A disc golf course, batting cages, tennis courts, and many other facilities make this a perfect location for your next sporting event.

    Patriots Park has been host to the Dixie Fast Pitch Ponytails and Bells, and five Dixie World Series Baseball and Softball Tournaments.

    Riverside Park is a multi-use recreational facility located on the banks of Betty’s Branch, a tributary of the Savannah River. The facility includes; a boat ramp, fishing pier and floating docks for easy access to the Savannah River. A large picnic shelter and restroom facility are also located near the boat ramp.

    River access is one of the major attractions. The park also boasts a state-of-the-art recreation complex that includes:

    Wildwood Park is open year round for camping and family outings, offering access to the 71,000-acre Clark Hill Lake which is excellent for fishing and boating activities.     Wildwood also has 61 camping spaces, horse trails, a historic naturalist – William Bartram – hiking trail, pavilions and many other amenities. The 975-acre park is also home to the International Disc Golf Center with the “Steady” Ed Headrick Disc Golf Museum and the International Disc Golf Hall of Fame.
